The Perfect Date

Jake and I have made it a goal to go to the temple once a month. And, since yesturday was date night (Friday) and the temple is closing on Monday till the new year, we decided to combine temple night with date night and it turned out to be the best date night yet!

As tradition on Fridays, I made pizza. Since I've made it so many times, I'm getting pretty dang good at it. Now, if only I could get Jake to move beyond just pepperoni and cheese! :) After we ate our scrumptious pepperoni pizza, we went to the Salt Lake Temple to do baptisms. We hadn't done baptisms since before we were married so it was a good change. When we went into the temple it was still light outside. But, when we came out it had turned dark and all the Christmas lights were on! It was magical! Temple Square during the holidays is absolutely beautiful.

And, to make this date night perfect for Jake, on our way home we made a pit stop at Cabela's.

PS. Only 1 week left of Christmas music!!!! I'm going to be sad when I'll have to wait a whole year to listen to it again. The Christmas season goes by way too fast.
